DeepWave – Binaural Beats

    Summary: DeepWave collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. Sounds are generated offline on your device. The app only needs an internet connection for purchases through Google Play.

2. Principle: no data collection

We do not collect, process or transmit any personal data. The app

contains no analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no Firebase or similar),
contains no advertising and no ad SDKs,
has no user account and no server of its own,
uses no cookies,
does not send any data to us or to third parties.

3. Purchases through Google Play

DeepWave is free. Premium, the complete bundle and the add-ons Sound alarm and Rhythm track are one-time purchases through Google Play. For this the app uses the Google Play Billing library:

Google handles payment and processing. We never receive payment details, your name or your email address.
The app only asks Google Play which purchases belong to your Google account and unlocks the features accordingly.
For this query the library adds the permissions INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and BILLING. The app makes no other connections.

Google's processing is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data only on your device (Android DataStore):

If Android backup is switched on for your device, Android may back up this data, encrypted, to your Google account and restore it on a new device. You control this in the Android settings; we have no access to it.

5. Permissions

The app does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or files.

6. Sharing of data

We do not share any data. For purchases, Google processes the purchase data as described in section 3.

7. Children

The app is intended for adults. It collects no data, including from children.

8. Sharing sessions

The share feature creates a link (binauralbeats://session?...) containing the technical values of a session (frequencies, durations). It contains no personal data. Sharing uses your device's share sheet; the app itself sends nothing.
